The graphic designer for this project, Reagan Daubert, is a visual storyteller with a deep passion for creating purposeful and meaningful design. With an eye for clarity and emotion, Reagan strives to craft visuals that not only capture attention but also spark reflection and connection. Their work on this project is rooted in a commitment to fostering authentic expression, using design as a tool to inspire meaningful change and create an engaging, impactful experience for every viewer.
THE PROJECT
I AM; WE ARE is a project that advocates for the importance of authenticity in everyday life. The idea emerged from a personal reflection on how essential life moments and key influences often came from those who presented themselves in the most genuine way. After assessing influences such as current culture, trends, and societal expectations, a gap was identified: many young adults lack the education, drive, or awareness needed to recognize how important authenticity truly is.
Research conducted to address this issue revealed that social media is a major factor contributing to the decline in authentic self-expression. For that reason, the project moved to Instagram, creating a space where individuals can take a moment out of their day to reflect on how they are practicing authenticity and share those reflections with others.
That foundation of personal reflection was then transformed into an educational resource. Through this effort, the hope is to inspire authentic change within any community, relationship, or individual.
